 Subject: Athletic Physicals for 2022-2023 School Year

As we begin to look forward to the upcoming school year it is time for yearly athletic physicals.  The Searcy Sports Medicine program, partnered with the Harding University Physician Assistant program, will offer FREE athletic physicals available to current 2021-2022 6th - 11th grade students.  This service allows Searcy student-athletes to be given a thorough physical exam prior to ANY athletic competition for the 2022-2023 school year.       \r\n

 On the date of the physicals, please have your student-athlete arrive in athletic attire to help speed up the physical exam process as best as possible.  Also, your student-athlete should bring home a medical history form which will need to be filled out by the student-athlete’s guardians.  This form allows for multiple things 1) allows the Searcy Sports Medicine staff an opportunity to address any medical situations that may arise during the upcoming school year 2) help speed up the physical exam process on the day of the event.  If you prefer to be evaluated by your primary care physician, please feel free to do so.  However, per the AAA (Arkansas Activities Association, for the upcoming school year - ALL student-athletes' physicals MUST be completed on the AAA physical exam form rather than individual medical clinic physical forms.  If you are in need of a copy of both the medical history & physical form, please feel free to contact either your student-athletes’ campus secretary or myself.

  In the event that your student-athlete gets their physical on the 29th, please be sure that their medical history form is returned as soon as possible.  Again, in the event you need an additional copy of the form please contact your student-athletes’ campus secretary or myself.  Please remember that per the AAA, BOTH FORMS NEED TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO COMPETITION FOR THE 2022-2023 school year.  Please access all the forms at the link below. In the event you have any questions regarding physicals for the upcoming season, please feel free to contact me.  Go Lions!!!
