
Families and Community Members--we invite you to join us for our first "Coffee with the Superintendent" on Friday, January 19th at Ahlf Junior High School! Dr. Hart and Searcy School District invite all stakeholders.


We are excited to welcome our student back tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9th. We hope all had a wonderful break and are ready for a great 2nd semester!


This year AJHS will be following our regular bell schedule during Semester Test Week. Students will take their tests during their normal class periods per subject. Students will go to all 7 classes each day. Tests will NOT be given early under any circumstances. Congratulations to the AJHS Unified Bowling teams that participated in the Special Olympics State Bowling Tournament. First place: Blake Smith, Zayden Thompson, Jace Faulkner, and Zayne Johnson; 2nd Place: James Day, Logan Turner, Melaina Rodgers, Cash Rath; 3rd place: Eli Smith, Bode Hackenberg, Dakota Canter, and Campbell Lawton; 4th Place: Rileigh Creel, Mia Villalobos, Ava Hill, and Abigail Thompson.

LAST CALL!!! Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 6 is the last day for our Operation Homefront Toy Drive. All toys need to be delivered to the Jr. High no later than noon on Wednesday.


Anyone attending the 7th grade Basketball versus Little Rock Christian games today at AJHS can get in free by bringing a new, unopened toy for our Operation Homefront Toy Drive! Let's fill the bottom of our Christmas tree and make some military families' holidays a little more special.


Congratulations, to the robotics team for advancing to the state FLL competition in January. This is the first year this team has participated in this league!! Way to make AJHS proud!! Keep it going!

Please remember the AJHS Operation Homefront Toy Drive this weekend when you are out shopping. We are behind on our goal of bringing in $10,000 worth of toys and only have until Wednesday, December 6. The class that brings in the largest dollar amount of toys will receive a Christmas party. We are in need of new, unopened toys for ages birth - 18.

The Annual AJHS Operation Homefront Toy Drive is underway! We are in need of new, unopened toys that will be donated to Arkansas military families this Christmas. Last year we brought in $10,000 worth of toys! Let's try to match that goal this year! Toys need to be brought to school by noon on Wednesday, December 6.


Any student interested in participating in the AJHS school spelling bee, needs to see their English teacher to pick up the study list. The spelling bee will be held on Tuesday, December 19th, at 4:00 pm in the library. Parents are welcome to attend.
The winner and runner-up from each grade level of this bee will represent Ahlf Junior High School at the White County Spelling Bee on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Harding University. The third-place finisher from each grade level will serve as an alternate and attend the county bee.
