Our annual Turkey Disguising contest was one for the books!! We had so many creatively disguised turkeys our judges had a hard time deciding! Judges from central office chose turkeys from each grade level and students were awarded a fun book! Way to go !
It takes a team to make Sidney Deener the welcoming place it is for our students, staff, and families! We are thankful for all members of the Deener team! This week we recognize Mrs.Donna and Mrs.Eva ! These two wear many hats on campus and are always willing to go the extra mile.
It is time for turkeys to be turned in! We are excited to see all the creative ways your turkeys have been disguised. Please bring them back by tomorrow, Thursday Nov 14th.

Flu Vaccine Clinic will be held this Friday, November 8th. If you have not, please send in paperwork if you wish for your student to participate!
We invite veterans and family members to join us Monday, November 11th at 1:30 for a special time together! Join us on the front lawn or in the gym if it rains!
Join us to cheer on our Lions! This Friday is elementary night! Students get FREE access with a paid adult.🦁

We are so thankful for those that joined us for Thursday’s conferences! Hosting student-led conferences offers a unique experience that empowers our students to take ownership of academic and behavioral progress! We loved seeing our students showcase what they’ve been learning and how they are growing!

Conferences are being held today from 3:40-7:30. We look forward to seeing you all with your students. Conferences are student-led so your student should attend with you so they can guide you through their conference!
Ms Eason’s Class enjoyed their Reward Party for getting the most Behavior Points in Art Class! They brought stuffies/blankets, got popsicles, took their shoes off, learned about Egyptian Mummies, made a Mummy Art Project, and had a Mummy Dance Party and learned how to walk like an Egyptian! ❤️
