Parents and family members can send them to their children, and the students can send them to friends and teachers! A Candy Gram will be a flavored candy cane with a To:/From: card attached to it. Each Candy Gram costs $1.00, and you can order as many as you like! Candy Grams will be delivered during our Winter parties on December 21st.

Our 5th grade students did a great job participating in the SWMS Shark Tank event last week. The teams worked since August to create solutions to everyday problems, write business plans, design display boards and prepare an elevator pitch to share at the event. We’re proud of their creativity and innovative ideas!

The FIRST Lego League Qualifier was held at Harding Academy on December 2. Out of 22 teams, the Li'l Goonies were selected to receive the Rising All-Star Award and will go to the state tournament in January! We are excited to represent Searcy as a new team in the Arkansas Lego robotics competition. We appreciate our mentors Mary Alice Brooks, from Harding Academy, and the high school Goonies team coaches and students Austin Muse, Trevor McGarrah, Emily Miller, Eijah Sandlin, Alex Langston and Ayson Moss! Our team members are: Garrison Burton, Kash Coleman, Journey Eddins, Hudson Felts, Jaxton Green, Ella Miller, Erin Miller, Noah Miller, and Aubrey Reynolds.
