Mrs. Lawson’s 4th grade students became community history hunters as they participated in a hop on/hop off history tour of Searcy. The information learned will be used to help the students create projects to make their very own History of Searcy Museum. Thank you to mayor, Mat Faulkner for allowing the students to participate in a mock city Council meeting, to Amy Burton (Main Street Searcy) and Shelly Churchwell for their presentations to the students, and to the Watson Center at HU for hosting them for lunch.

Congratulations to Jaxon Kelly and Nehemiah Doby for their outstanding achievement in solving the SWMS Library November Mystery Word of the month! Their dedication, problem-solving skills, and perseverance have paid off. Solving a mystery word requires critical thinking and a keen eye for detail, and they have demonstrated these qualities admirably. Well done, Jaxon and Nehemiah!
