In partnership with the Searcy Public Library, the Searcy High School FIRST Robotics Team, #9067 The Goonies, is thrilled to announce our inaugural "Library Tech Takeover" event, titled Robot Rumble. This exciting kickoff event will take place on Monday, November 25th, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and is free and open to the public.
Robot Rumble offers a hands-on opportunity for community members to explore science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in a fun and engaging way. Participants will interact with kid-friendly robots available at the Searcy Public Library, with guidance and support from members of our high school robotics team. Whether it’s coding, problem-solving, or simply discovering the magic of robotics, this event promises an inspiring introduction to the world of STEM.
This is just the beginning of a larger initiative. The Searcy High School Robotics Team is committed to expanding STEM awareness and access within our community by hosting regular events that bring technology and learning directly to the public. Through our Library Tech Takeover series and other outreach efforts, we aim to inspire learners of all ages and spark curiosity about STEM fields and careers.
We invite families, students, and anyone interested in STEM to join us for this special event. Come see what makes robotics so exciting and how the power of STEM can shape our future!
