
The AJHS Spring Scholastic Book Fair is underway this week, Monday, May 6- Friday, May 10. Students may shop before school, during lunch, and after school.


Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7, AJHS students will continue taking the ATLAS test. All students need to be rested, and ready to do their very best on the summative end-of-year ATLAS test. Students will report to their 1st period class as normal and we will begin testing 2nd period.

Remember: NJHS will host a glow dance for AJHS students on Friday, April 26, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00. Concessions will be available for $1.00-$2.00. Cash and cards will be accepted. Proceeds will support NJHS scholarships. The school dress code does apply. Students suspended or assigned to in-school suspension this semester (since January) are not eligible to attend.


Progress reports and 2024-2025 course request verification forms went home today with students. All 8th grade verification forms must be returned with parent/guardian signature and any change noted on the form. Seventh graders only need to return their verification forms if a course change is needed.


This week we celebrated our AJHS Student Interns who have been with us this year. We wish them the best in their educational careers. Remember, once a CUB, always a CUB!

We are proud of our AJHS and SHS chess club students who competed in the Wilbur Mills Coop tournament in Beebe today. Antonio Brito, Isaac Gustke, Aiden Hass, and Jesus Santos tied for 4th place in the junior high division. Congratulations!
