Lots of fun was had yesterday as the AJHS faculty and staff supported the 8th-grade football team at their last home game. Thanks to Centennial Bank for providing food for a tailgate party before the game! We are so proud of our student athletes!

The AJHS Chess Club participated in their first Chess Tournament Tuesday, in Beebe. Drew Monday placed 4th, Eli Seger placed 8th and Jesus Santons placed 13 out of 64 participants. Way to go guys!!


Yesterday the AJHS Unified Bowling Team went to Allfam Bowling Center in Cabot to prepare for next week's Unified Bowling Tournament. AJHS is so excited to be participating in Unified Sports this year.

Reminder: Tomorrow, Thursday, October 26 we will host our 1st Nine Weeks Recognition Assembly. Parents wishing to attend should arrive 10-15 minutes before the assembly time to check in through the office.


AJHS will be hosting a Flu Immunization Clinic on Thursday, November 9. Consent and FERPA forms must be signed and returned by Thursday, November 2 in order to receive a shot. Forms MUST be signed and the student's name must be listed in all required areas. Forms will be sent home with students no later than Thursday, October 26.

AJHS will dismiss at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday this week. This will help alleviate some parking and logistics with SHS hosting the 5A State Volleyball Tournament. Thank you for your support.


Parents are invited to join us as we celebrate our students on Thursday, October 26. The 7th grade assembly will be held at 9:00 a.m. and the 8th grade at 1:00 p.m. Parents need to arrive 10-15 minutes early and check in through the office.
