All 7th, 8th, or 9th-grade students interested in Quiz Bowl should meet in Mr. George's room (312) after school on Wednesday, September 6 until 4:00 p.m. Students should arrange for transportation home at 4:00 p.m.

7th grade pep squad sign ups are open! The pep squad will require after school clinics and practices as well as attendance at 1-2 7th grade football games and 1-2 7th grade basketball games. A current physical will also be required to participate. Students must be signed up by Friday, August 18, outside Mrs. Overstreet’s room in order to participate. We are so excited about the beginning of a new school year and cannot wait to see you in the morning. Please remember when the 7:45 am bell rings, to go to your 7th period class. 23-24 AJHS Yearbook Fundraiser Shirts order forms are now available! The yearbook staff will be available tonight at Open House from 5-7 to take orders. Orders will be taken for the next 2 weeks. Payments must accompany the order. Accepted forms of payment are cash or checks made to AJHS. See Mrs. Farley.

AJHS Open House is tomorrow, Thursday, August 10 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Students will be able to meet teachers, pick up school supply lists, and order new Searcy Lion t-shirts. All three front entrances will be open. Please sign in upon arrival.
