We are so excited to announce that Ms. Jackson passed the "Discuss It" AND "Connect It" sections of the i-Ready Math Certification! i-Ready is our K-8 math curriculum and the i-Ready Certification is an optional support for teachers. Ms. Jackson has one step left to receive the Level 1 i-Ready Certification. Congratulations to Ms. Jackson and her awesome students!

Wow! We had a great spring book fair! Our school will receive over $3,300 in Scholastic Rewards to purchase books and materials for our library. Thank you to our volunteers for helping Mrs. Tharp make this book fair a success!
These students won a Book Fair gift card for completing our kindness challenge this week. Students were challenged to complete at least three acts of kindness per day to be entered into the drawing! We had so many of our students complete the challenge! We’ve got some of the sweetest students at McRae!

We will have a free family meal, literacy and math games, STEAM exploration, a photo booth, and Kona Ice! Kindness Week is off to a great start! One of our kindness projects for this week is to spread kindness in the community. Our 2nd and 3rd grade students wrote cards to our local nursing home patients.
