On Thursday, April 18th Searcy High School Choir students participated in State Choir Contest. SHS had two groups compete in the festival where both groups received all Superior Ratings and each group received a Sweepstakes Award for their region and state competitive assessments this semester. Both groups won additional division state titles for 6A Best in Class Tenor Bass Large Chorus to SHS Mass 9th-12th Grade Tenor Bass Choir and 6A Best in Class Treble Large Chorus to SHS Mass 9th-12th Grade Treble Choir. The SHS Mass 9th-12th Grade Treble Choir was named the Overall 6A Large Chorus Best In Class out of all 12 choirs in their division.
