Searcy School District congratulates Searcy High School's Sound of Searcy Marching Band for their outstanding marching season! The Sound of Searcy under the direction of new band directors Christopher Johns and Jeremiah Dodson competed at the State Marching Contest at War Memorial Stadium on Tuesday. Searcy earned first division ratings from all judges, placed 7th out of twenty-three 5A State Bands, and earned a spot in the OVERALL top 25 marching bands in Arkansas. Congratulations to our student musicians and our directors for these fantastic accomplishments!
