Good afternoon. Due to the icy road conditions, Searcy School District will participate in a virtual learning day tomorrow, Friday, February 12. All schools will be closed, and teachers will be work remotely from home. Also, school will not be in session on Monday, February 15 in recognition of Presidents' Day. Enjoy the long weekend, and please stay safe.
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, Searcy School District will pivot to remote learning for Wednesday, February 10th. All students should have brought their chromebooks home today. 3rd Grade students went on a scavenger hunt on our playground looking for simple machines for a science activity!
3rd grade Art travels the world in search of amazing Art. This time we landed in Ancient Greece to study the beautiful Geometric and Archaic Greek Pottery. Students drew their designs and then transferred them to scratch paper. Then students had to decide what to scratch in their designs. They did a fabulous job!
1st grade Art Students learned how to draw a 1pt Perspective Landscape. They turned out so amazing!
