2nd grade Art studies famous artists and this week was Keith Haring. Keith Haring was a street artist that painted simple human figures showing movement using bold black outlines and bright colors. Great job 2nd grade! Mr. Haring would be proud!

First Grade Artists are learning about the Element of Space in Art Class. Students learned how the famous artist, Georgia O'Keefe, used the entire space of her canvases to make large scale paintings of flowers. Students made their own flowers in the style of O'Keefe. They turned out beautifully. Wouldn't our famous artist would be so proud!

The final date to order is Friday, February 12th. If you wish to personalize your child's yearbook, this can only be completed online and the last day to order with personalization is Friday, January 29th.
Yearbooks are $20.00 if paying with cash or check. Online orders are $20.00+ tax. If paying with a check, it should be made out to Sidney Deener Elementary School.
