The White County Health Department will be holding an immunization clinic at Southwest Middle School on Friday, May 3rd.
Tdap immunization for students age 11 and MCV4 immunization for students entering the 7th grade will be required prior to registration for the 2024-2025 school year.
Anthony Garcia achieved over 100 i-Ready lessons in 4th grade math. Atlys Andrews, Dua Cheema, Gabe Youngblood, Layla Jennell, Noah Davis, and Mark Ackerman have passed the 50 lesson point on their way to 100! Congratulations to all!

Southwest Airline Pilot Chris Alexander, 5th grader William Alexander’s dad, came to visit Mrs. Chaney’s homeroom class. He shared his experience as a pilot and inspired the class to pursue their dreams and work hard doing it. He’s coming back in May to share more. Thank you, Mr. Alexander!

2024 SWMS Yearbooks have arrived!! Distribution will be May 10th!
There are a limited number of extra yearbooks that will be sold the week of distribution. May 6-7-8-9 for $40. First come, first served!
April is designated as the Month of the Military Child, and April 19th is National Purple Up Day. This special day was instituted as a way to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices. We would like to encourage everyone to wear purple on that day as a symbol of our appreciation for those students’ sacrifice.
