Congratulations to our newly elected 2023/2024 Student Government! These students submitted applications, received teacher recommendations, hung posters, created campaign videos, and worked hard to earn the votes of their peers. We are very proud of everyone that ran this year. It's exciting to see how many students want to be involved in making SWMS the best that it can be. Join us for our PTO meeting!
FIRST Robotics Team
Searcy students from grades 6, 7 and 8 have joined for the 2023-24 FIRST Lego League Challenge competition. The students met with Mary Alice Brooks, from Harding Academy, this week to review their Innovation Project ideas. They are designing missions, constructing and programming a robot, and preparing presentations for showcasing their "Masterpiece" on December 2! Team members are Garrison Burton, Kash Coleman, Journey Eddins, Hudson Felts, Jaxton Green, Boston Johnson, Erin Miller, Ella Miller, Noah Miller and Aubrey Reynolds. The coaches are Paul Barber and Shelley Yeakley.
