Hello Westside Elementary School Families,
We have officially kicked off the Kids Heart Challenge adventure with the American Heart Association, and we need your help! Over the next few weeks students will be learning about their heart, raising awareness and funds for the American Heart Association. Our school's goal is to raise $7,000.00 in donations and for every student to complete Finn's Mission!
The Adventure started today with your student(s) watching this video at school.
PARENTS – HERE’S HOW TO GET STARTED
Step 1. Visit our school’s Kids Heart Challenge page: http://www2.heart.org/site/TR?fr_id=7560&pg=company&company_id=398097 OR download the Kids Heart Challenge App for iPhone or Android to search for our school and sign up!
Step 2. Complete Finn’s Mission – this will be your map!
Your student will collect gems along the way, including their own Heart Heroes and more. Let’s have some fun for a great cause:
Any student that raises $150 will get to help tape Mr. Denney and Mr. Hunt to a column on driveway #1 during morning drop-off the week after Thanksgiving!
It's almost time for Westside's Heart Challenge!
🚩Kick-Off for Kid's Heart Challenge will be November 1, 2022 in the gym during activity periods.
🚩Our celebration day will be November 18, 2022 during activity periods in the gym. Parents will be encouraged to participate in grade level celebrations:
First grade at 8:45
Kindergarten at 9:30
Second grade at 10:15
Third grade at 2:05
🚩Students raising $150 for KHC will get to Tape Mr. Hunt and Mr. Denney to one of the Brick columns in Driveway 1 during the week of November 28 - December 2, more details will come later.
📣This year all donations will be on-line only.
