We had 103 students participate in the Fall Book Swap today! Ms. Kim sure hopes they are happy with their choices and will be reading over the holiday break!! We will have another swap in the spring before leaving for summer break.

Westside families: Our lost and found is overflowing with coats, lunchboxes, water bottles and other various items. If you stop by, please ask to see our lost & found so that you may claim your items. Also, please encourage your child to look for misplaced things as well. Items remaining by Christmas break will be donated. Thank you so much for your help!

Book in-take will continue the week after Thanksgiving Break for those who need the break to go through their collection. Bring books to Ms. Kim when you arrive in the morning or to library class!!

We hope all our Searcy School District families will join us at Lion Arena tomorrow night. Free admission for all Searcy fans. Bring your family and friends, and let's fill the arena for our special dedication night! Girls game begins at 6pm and boys will follow.
Westside had 50 readers CRUSH the October Reading Challenge! These students read at least 15 minutes every day of October AND wrote the title of what they read in the calendar square and turned it back into Ms. Kim for a free book. Congratulations!! If you weren't able to meet the challenge in September or October, you will have another opportunity in January. We will take a break for the holidays. January calendars will go home with students over Christmas Break so they can get started on New Years!

To receive a free book, the calendar squares must be completely filled out and the calendar signed by a parent/guardian. She can't wait to see who met the challenge!!
Hello all! I see here that some of you haven't ordered your yearbook yet!!! You'll want to fix that right MEOW because now through Nov. 17th, you can order a 2023-24 Westside Elementary Yearbook for only $30. After that date, the yearbook price goes up to $35....and forget what the dog told you....be wise, and spend that extra $5 on some catnip!!
