Ms. Nielsen's Spanish III classes recently studied the different genres of Latin American music. Students chose a different genre to explain characteristics, instruments and artists . Easton Faulkner explained the vallenato genre which originated in Colombia. Lexi Clouse and Haley Tancinco explained the Boogaloo genre and then taught the dance to their class. Chris Aguilón explained the Mexican Corridos and even entertained his class with a couple of examples.
