Virtual Grief Support Groups
Searcy School District Families~Through a generous donation from the Searcy Fire Department and community members, Searcy School District has non perishable food items available for anyone who may need them over the holidays. As our students will be home until our return to school on January 10, we hope our families will take advantage of this donation. Each campus has a food donation box located outside the main entryway doors. You may pick up food items during pickup today, drop off tomorrow morning,or anytime throughout the next few days that is convenient for you until the food is gone. We are so very grateful for the Searcy Fire Department and its commitment to our children and families! We wish you and your family a very happy holiday!
Of the four SHS EAST students who applied for the EAST Conference Leaderships Teams, two were selected for this honor. Eva Duncan will represent SHS as a Social Media Reporter, and Avery Evans will be an Ambassador Team Member! They will be working for EAST while the team is at EAST Conference March 14-16. Congratulations to these students

SHS Esports is playing in the state tournament Elite 8 today at 4 PM. They are undefeated and will be playing Van Buren High School. The game will be streamed on Youtube. Go Esports!!!
On Saturday, December 3rd a few members of the Searcy High School Concert Choir caroled for the community at the Pioneer Village Christmas Open House and at the Jolly Jubilee sponsored by the Searcy Holiday of Lights.

The SHS Gnome of Excellence has recognized Christine Edelmann. Thank you for working hard and making a difference in our students' lives.
On Monday, Dec. 5, people who attend the home game against Little Rock Christian for 8th and 9th grade girls and boys can bring a toy to donate to our annual Operation Homefront Toy Drive in exchange for their admission ticket. Passes will still work to attend and people without toys can still buy a regular ticket. These toys go to military families in the state of Arkansas.
SHS Esports, in the closest match they have every played, beat Rogers High School 2 sets to 1. This makes us the only undefeated team and gives us the #1 overall rank in the state and top seat in the upcoming playoffs. Way to go Esports!!
