Dr. Blakely was elected to the Searcy Board of Education in 2014. Dr. Blakely received his M.D. from the University of Medical Sciences in May of 1991 and and was the recipient of the Robert A. Dripps Memorial Award for Outstanding Graduate Resident in Anesthesiology. He has served as Chief of Staff, Chief of Surgery, and Chief of Anesthesiology at Unity Health in Searcy.

Dr. Mike Liles, Vice-President (Zone 3)
Dr. Liles was first elected to the Searcy Board of Education in 1993. He is a veterinarian and owned Liles Animal Clinic in Searcy. Liles is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association (Secretary/Treasurer: 1988-present) , and Southwest Veterinary Symposium (Treasurer: 2008-present). Liles is an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Searcy Chamber of Commerce, Humane Society of Searcy Board of Directors, American Cancer Society, Arkansas School Boards Association, and a sponsor of Center on the Square Performing Arts Theatre.
Mrs. Donna Rippey, Member (Zone 5)
Mrs. Rippey is a Searcy native and 1980 graduate of Searcy High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ouachita Baptist University. She and her husband, Will, are the parents of three grown children-David, Matthew, and Julia-all of whom graduated from Searcy High School. Mrs. Rippey is a lifelong supporter of the Searcy School District and an active community servant.
Mr. Roy Showalter, President (Zone 2)
Mr. Showalter is a native of Searcy and earned a bachelors of science in education from Southern Arkansas University and a masters degree from the University of Central Arkansas. He is a retired educator having served as the high school media specialist at White County Central School District for twenty-five years. He and his wife, Nancy, owned Stotts Drug Company in downtown Searcy. Showalter is the father of Parker (Jessica) and Anna Claire, and the grandfather of Brooklyn, Bristol, and Bowen Showalter.
Mr. Philip Williams, Member (Zone 1)
Mr. Williams was elected to the Searcy Board of Education in 1995. Williams is retired from Wal-Mart Stores Inc. previously acting as Assistant Manager, Store Manager, and District Manager, managing up to fifteen stores with an annual budget of $110 million. He is a founding member of the Searcy Public Schools Education Foundation and an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Searcy where he has served as financial chair and Chairman of the Administrative Council and Board of Trustees.
