Athletic Update: The SHS basketball games against Nettleton have been rescheduled again for Saturday, February 26. Senior festivities will be held between the girls and boys game. The girls will play at 2 P.M. Go Lions and Lady Lions!

Thanks to all our families, students and staff for your patience and understanding during today’s todays early dismissal. Special thanks to school secretaries for keeping it all running smooth.
Due to the icy road conditions, Searcy School District will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 24. All schools will participate in an AMI day. Twelve- month employees will not report to work. We will continue to keep you informed through messaging, website, and social media regarding closure, transportation, and activities. Stay safe and warm.

Congratulations to the Jr. High Quiz Bowl team for going undefeated in the Regional tournament this weekend and earning the first place position! The team will compete in the state finals on March 5. In addition to winning first place, Luke Pruitt was named the MVP and will participate in an all-star event later this year. The Jr. High Quiz Bowl coach is Chance George. Way to go!
