Due to the power being completely out at Searcy High School and no indicated time of it being restored, SHS is pivoting to remote learning for the rest of the day. Students who drive will be dismissed first, and parents of students who do not drive may be picked up at 10:30 A.M. Parents may text their child to let them know if they will pick up on the East or West side. You will check out your child from your car upon your arrival. If your child is a bus rider and cannot be picked up, we will keep your student in a designated location until the end of the day and he/she will ride the bus home. Thank you for your cooperation in this unusual circumstance.
Searcy High School is currently experiencing a reduced power situation. At this time, we are able to continue onsite classroom instruction. Entergy has been contacted, and we will provide you with updated information as more becomes available. Thank you.
