Congratulations to AJHS English teacher Sara Dacus for completing the AR Declaration of Learning Program. She was honored by Governor Asa Hutchinson yesterday for her dedication and innovative ideas and attended a dinner at the Governor’s Mansion alongside other ADOL participants.

The Ahlf Jr. High School Honors Night has been rescheduled for 6pm on Monday, May 13, at the SHS Performing Arts Center.
Due to weather, the Ahlf Junior High School awards assembly has been cancelled for tonight and will be rescheduled at a later date.
All Searcy Schools buses will be running 20-25 minutes later than the regularly scheduled time. Thank you for your patience.

White County is currently under a tornado warning. Some radars indicate that the tornado will miss the city of Searcy, but Searcy School District has instructed all campuses to take cover. Thank you and stay safe.
Searcy Schools Board of Education recognized the SHS Unified Basketball team for winning the state championship for the second year in a row. SHS Unified president Sarah McCammon gave an overview of the Unified sports and team members were recognized. Congratulations!
