Congratulations to the Searcy High School wrestling team on earning the 5A State Wrestling Championship title! Thirteen wrestlers received state medals with ten being named as all-state wrestlers. Individual wrestling statistics included second place winners Matthew Gale, Landon Valdez, Brad Brown, Joseph Delk, Eduardo Mancilla, Nick Light, and Demaceo Whittier. CJ Yocham, Aiden Fitzpatrick, and Ryan Tillery earned third place spots, and Logan Money and Brayden Zamperelli placed 6th.
In addition to these outstanding results, Coach Jerry Evans was named the 5A Coach of the Year. Searcy School District congratulates these athletes and coaches!
Athletic Update-Today's scheduled Preps Baseball Tournament game at Wynne has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 4:00 P.M. due to wet field conditions. The SHS Lions will take on the Bald Knob Bulldogs tomorrow. They will play again on Wednesday.
Searcy High School Prom Closet is a free service for all SHS students who may need assistance in securing attire for the SHS Prom. The SHS Prom will be held on Saturday, April 27.
